Candies Davis Miller

When we all get to Heaven, what a day of rejoicing that will be.  When we all see Jesus, we will sing and shout the victory.  With loving hearts, R. H. Greene Funeral Home is offering comfort to the loved ones of Mrs. Candies Davis Miller, age 93 of Warrenton, North Carolina.  Mrs. Miller transitioned on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at her residence.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. in the sanctuary of United Solid Rock Faith Ministries in Warrenton, North Carolina.  Bishop Moore H. Bynum, Pastor will officiate and Reverend Kenneth Williams will deliver the eulogy.

While she did not have children of her own, Candis was a devoted mother figure who raised two nephews, Wesley and Norman Williams, and a niece, Geraldine Collins-Lynch.  She was a grandmother in spirit to many, including, Clint, James and Christopher Williams, Travis Alston, Renford Lynch, Nathaniel Taylor, Bernard Goode, Natalie Wingate and Megan Harris.  She also held a special place in heart for those she considered her children:  Ben Williams, JT Gillis, Gloria Jones, Brendon McNamara, Lucas Paynter, George Arrington, Mavis Alston, Shirley Clark, Nini Ward and Mary Arrington.  She also had a host of other relatives and friends whom she cared dearly for.
